Healthy Tip of the Day: Eat MORE often!




Don't let yourself get into starvation mode!! Be sure to eat something healthy every 2-3 hours. Often people think they should skip meals to cut down on calories when they're trying to lose weight, but the opposite happens when your body doesn't get fed as frequently as it should. When this happens, your body believes you're trying to starve it - so it stops burning (and starts conserving) calories! So keep that metabolism burning - eat more often!  I'm not advocating huge meals here -- just small healthy portions spread out over 5 or 6 meals a day.
