When we aim for the bare minimum and we fall short - we get nowhere. We lose traction. We're stuck on the treadmill of life - constantly moving, but never getting anywhere.
But if we shoot for our highest potential, falling short of that means we're growing. We're achieving. We're utilizing all we have and calling on the universe to come along for the ride. And she'll oblige 🙏
I used to have a lot of fear around the idea of setting goals. Since my career has shifted from being a litigator to my passion of helping other people to live their healthiest and most fulfilling lives, my success in that regard depends on a multitude of factors - including especially my own frame of mind and how I show up every day for all those I serve.
I was afraid that if I set a high goal and got a lot of negative responses, I would feel like a failure. So I set the bar low and reached it.
That's why personal development has been so integral to what I do. It's helped me grow and learn and push myself outside my comfort zone.
So today, I'm announcing my goal for the month of May. Whereas I usually set the goal of helping 5 people a month, I know I can do that. I'm getting off the proverbial treadmill, and setting my goal on helping 20 people this month get started on their positive life journey, starting with their health and fitness.
Do you want to be one of them? My #summerstrong challenge (with a ca$h pot prize!) starts next week.
