Sunday Confessional...

Sunday Confession...

Ok so I feel the need to come clean about something...

These past couple of weeks, my workouts have been half-assed. My nutrition? Welllllll...let's say I've been starting out my weeks with diligent meal prepping and then somewhere along the line, cookies, wine, pizza, and ice cream have somehow snuck their way back into my eating regimen. 😱😱😱 I'm human...BUT:

What's different about the Jaime of now vs. the Jaime of old is that I can recognize the signs and stop before I wake up 3 months later 40lbs heavier and miserable with my life.

If you've been following my journey these past couple of years you can probably tell I've been growing. A lot. With that comes growing pains, and of course, some of these trigger old patterns of self-sabotage disguised as soothing.

Why am I coming clean about all of this? Because I know that I can't hide, and the biggest thing I've learned about how to get myself out of a downward spiral is calling it out and leaning on the accountability of family and community.

Not only that, but I'm here as a living testament to what a "REAL" person goes through. I've had a huge transformation. But that doesn't mean I wake up every day on cloud 9, singing a ditty, wanting to workout and feeling like I can do anything. There will always be days that are hard. And if I don't share that, I'm doing a disservice to all who follow me.

We all need a push every now and again. We all need love. No one's perfect.

So this morning, when I reached out to my team and asked for some extra accountability by way of a virtual workout party, I was so excited that two of my fit fam jumped on board with me and we got it done. Their energy pushed me to do the ab workouts I've been "forgetting" (ok...intentionally avoiding...) and I'm inspired to fully commit to my goals this month.

I keep it real because I'm no different than any of you. And I share my story because I was helped by others who did the same.

If you are also looking for extra accountability and want an extra push, shoot me a message at fb.com/jaimepiazza or an email at jaimepiazza@gmail.com and I will reach out to you with more details.
